Tryout Details
Tryout Workout
During the tryout, players will be asked to:
Sprint 60 feet
Perform an Agility Drill
Display Defensive Abilities
Hitting (Tee & Soft Toss)
Overhand Throwing/Play Catch
Pitching and/or Catching
Timed Push-Ups
Timed Sit-Ups
Plank Time
Showing their Coachability
What to Wear
Clothing Requirements
Workout Shirt
Softball Pants
Belt
Socks
Running Shoes/Turf Shoes
What to Bring
Equipment Requirements
Glove(s)
Bat
Batting Helmet
Batting Glove(s) (if applicable)
Catchers Gear (if applicable)
Jill Pelvic Protector (optional)
Unable to Attend?
If a player is unable to attend any of the scheduled sessions, a private tryout can be arranged at a time that better accommodates the family’s schedule. Additional tryout opportunities will also be offered throughout the summer, as roster needs may evolve, and additional players may be considered for inclusion in August.
